As a society journal, the Journal of Shelter Medicine and Community Animal Health (JSMCAH) is solely funded by The Association of Shelter Veterinarians (ASV). This financial model enables researchers to publish in JSMCAH without Article Processing Charges (APCs). JSMCAH does not currently accept direct sponsorship or advertisements.
